Summary
Contrary
to what we had thought, a wide range of information can be found on Internet
concerning foreign investments in Uzbekistan. The needs of economic
development in the country's transition towards capitalism, impose to Uzbekistani
authorities a certain frame of mind to attract foreign investments. In
order to reach this aim, these authorities have developed some official
web sites providing with information on all the procedures concerning investments
in the country. And , through the Tacis program for co-operation with the
Commonwealth of Independent States, the European Union supplies with a
web site informing on aids, investments grants, co-operation and economic
development projects for Uzbekistan . Also, getting in contact with commercial
associations and diplomatic offices ( on Internet) can be very useful for
your investments plans.
