With the title: Safety And Energy Cooperation: A Future Warranty, the Spanish Energy Club and the Balearic Islands Government will organize the III Euro-Mediterranean Energy Forum that will be held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain starting November 30th and finishing December 2nd 2006. World events in the last three years have proven the existence of a wide range of problems to achieve an adequate balance between manufacturing, commerce and satisfying energy demands. The third edition of the Euro-Mediterranean Energy Forum will offer the opportunity for deeper debate and reflection, inviting government representatives, businessmen, institutions and experts to address energy security and cooperation as mandatory conditions in order to make the future possible. An open and productive dialogue among the Mediterranean countries will open avenues to cooperation which will make possible an energy model capable of satisfying the expectations of producer countries as well as those of consumers. The Euro-Mediterranean Energy Forum reiterates its role as a meeting point for proactive cooperation so that all the countries in the area can freely express their points of view and, above all, create the foundations of that which today is essential: energy availability which fairly satisfies the needs of everyone. Cooperation will be approached with a multidisciplinary vision: financial, technological, commercial and environmental, with the singular objective of achieving energy security which provides the corresponding benefit to the entire Mediterranean basin, an area increasingly relevant when addressing energy from a geo-strategic point of view.
